The End of the Pulp Paradigm leaves a 20B unit gap in the European diaper market. This is the Beginning of the Synthetic Era in the $100B baby diaper market.
PREVENTING HARVEST OF 50 MILLION TREES A YEAR
This "Pulp Paradigm" is biologically variable, logistically heavy, and legally insolvent under the new European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

Replace Legacy Tech • Break the Old System • Prove It at Scale
Matthew Keddy brings a 30-year track record as a multi-market Founder and CEO across North America, Asia, LATAM and Europe. He navigates cross-border environments in finance, information technology in B2B markets, with coverage from Reuters, Dow Jones, Nikkei Asian Review, and The Wall Street Journal for execution in new market segments—experience directly aligned with today’s EUDR compliance reset.
He is one of the most widely quoted executives in the global diaper and hygiene sector ( in a span of 2-years) and was recognized in Nonwovens Industry Magazine’s 2024 “Innovation of the Year” issue for leadership in next-generation, tree-free absorbent-core design. Routinely interviewed by Nonwovens Industry Magazine (New York) and Sustainable Nonwovens Magazine (London), he has generated 6,000+ media pickups, 2B audience reach, and $50M EMV per year across North America, LATAM/Caribbean, and Europe—with zero paid editorial.
CEO mandate: Replace the legacy core, own the regulatory moment, scale faster than incumbents can react—and make the media broadcast TreeFree’s rise on their dime, not ours.

Product Innovation • Category Reinvention • Industrial-Scale Proof
30-year veteran and one of the most accomplished diaper-core engineers globally. At Softex Indonesia, launched 20+ products, cut time-to-market from nine to three months, and contributed to USD $480M annual revenue — leading to the USD $1.2B acquisition by Kimberly-Clark.
Expert in material substitution, compliance engineering, and production system redesign. Former Pampers leader at P&G Global, with deep experience transitioning factories during category-level shifts — critical as pulp becomes non-scalable under EUDR.
Delivered industrial-grade validation: factory conversions, new SKUs, reduced waste, higher uptime, and measurable margin gains across global markets. Proven record of translating engineering improvements into commercial scale.
CTO mandate: Convert TreeFree Core® from innovation into infrastructure — guaranteeing line speed, reliability, and converter-ready deployment across the post-EUDR manufacturing landscape.

1. WHAT: THE VALUATION RESET
We are re-rating the global hygiene industry from a volatile "Forestry Commodity" to a precise "Industrial Technology."
- The Model: Asset-Light, High-Velocity. We do not own forests; we own the IP and the contracts.
- The Economics: We deliver strong Gross Margins in a sector historically capped at 8-12%.
- The Growth: Scaling on a linear container curve.
- The Shift: We are moving the valuation multiple from Commodity Forestry (~6x EBITDA) to
ESG-Premium Industrial (~15x EBITDA).
2. WHY: THE 20 BILLION UNIT DISLOCATION
The market isn't shifting; it is being forcibly redistributed by law.
- The Vacuum: On Dec 30, 2025, the EUDR strands 20 Billion Units of pulp-based diaper capacity. The legacy supply chain cannot legally cross the border.
- The Inheritance: We are not "competing" for this market share. We are inheriting it by regulatory default.
- The Certainty: Retailers cannot risk empty shelves or 4% turnover fines. They must buy compliant volume. We possess the only scalable, exempt volume in Europe.
3. HOW: SCALING BY CONTRACT, NOT CONSTRUCTION
We decoupled growth from land use.
- Zero CapEx: We utilize the PATH+ Network of existing Tier 1 converters. We do not build greenfield factories; we activate existing infrastructure.
- Linear Scaling: Forestry scales destructively (requires more land, years of growth). TreeFree scales linearly (requires more containers, weeks of lead time).
- Fixed-Cost Hedge: While pulp suffers biological inflation (droughts, beetles), we offer
12-18 month fixed pricing, locking in OEM margins and securing long-term offtake.
4. WHEN: THE BINARY EVENT (2026)
This is not a 10-year horizon. It is an immediate liquidity event.
- Day 1 (2026): We launch with a secured base load in the billion of Units range.
- Year 2 (2027): We expand to market share as the pulp supply chain fractures.
- The Reality: The EUDR is the catalyst. The "Compliance Gap" is the mechanism. TreeFree Core is the beneficiary.
We are not predicting the future. We are engineering the replacement.
